Mentor Morning: Teamwork

We all need to feel included before a group becomes a group.

In this time of remote teams and virtual agencies we need to be more aware of what people need to work together successfully. It’s hard to build a great working relationship with a bunch of strangers. Harder still when you are dealing with with diverse backgrounds and in my experience it’s the most difficult when we’re all working remotely. Many of my consulting clients either run businesses using remote workers or freelance entirely with remote clients.

But you don’t need to be remote to encounter problems when you’re included on a team, building one, or leading a team. Difficult issues can arise that can completely destroy any feeling of closeness or cooperation.

Our next Mentor Morning will be all about teamwork and building great teams both remotely and not. Bring your stories, tips, great experiences and terrible ones.
