Thanks Vuk. Loss. Deep, deep disappointment. The kind of disappointment that leaves us empty and at it’s worst with a feeling that we can’t go on. Loss. It happens every day to creatives. Why? It’s the investment that we make. Not the money but the feeling investment. It’s the deep emotional commitment that makes doing the best work we can even remotely possible. When we go all in and are rejected the pain can be deep, lasting and even physical. I know that you’ve experienced this. I sure have.

As much as we get excited about winning pitches, growing and hiring to support new scope, we get equally disappointed when we lose prospective new business and as a result, lose good people.

Thanks Jessica, I’ve been thinking a lot about the emotions behind our actions. This co-op serial gives me a chance to explore difficult conversations in through the story. I’m glad you like it. Made my day!

I really like this turn in the story. It’s very compelling to see the group struggle. I think others will be able to identify with it, but also, it’s interesting from an internal perspective to think about how it might all play out and how the group would manage a situation like this.
