Mentor Mornings: Screw “Personal Branding,” Part 2

Mentor mornings meeting

You may have noticed that I’m on a mission to cut the bunk on so-called “personal branding.” “Branding” serves to overlay human traits onto products as a way to make them (products) more appealing to people. So unless you’re a robot, you don’t need “personal branding.”

This week’s Mentor Mornings picks up where our previous conversation left off: how do we present ourselves as the real and emotional humans we are? How do we toss the elevator pitch and just be ourselves—and get the business?

Bring your story (about 2 minutes or less). We’ll talk together about what’s working and why.

Thank you to our event sponsor and host SVC Seattle.
